What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up? Becoming and Belonging in UU Community
Join us this Sunday as we explore identity and all the ways we are continuously “becoming” throughout our lives. Through stories and music we will ponder what it means to discover who we are, what it feels like to belong, and how we encourage growth within a beloved community.
We’ll meet in Adams Hall to learn about Michigan initiatives to protect our right to vote and to write letters and postcards to get out the vote. Our letters and postcards will encourage reluctant or new voters to use their voice and will count toward our Good Trouble Congregation designation.
All sentient beings have the ability to bless us humans if we are open to experiencing their presence. In this service, we will honor and bless our animal companions and thank them for their love. Animals on leashes or in containers are welcome to attend this service with their humans!
Improv acting is all about how do we build connections and move forward together. The foundational agreement of Yes/And is a great tool for faith communities to learn how to be together across differences. Come, let us play and explore together!
