There are many ways to find community and new friends at UUCF. Here are a few of our reoccurring groups that our members use to create connection and discussion in our congregation. More events can be found on our event calendar.
Save the World Farmington – Sundays @ 7PM
Save the World Farmington was formed shortly after the 2016 election. We meet every week via Zoom to discuss social justice issues and how to make this country – and the world – a better place. We use books, podcasts, articles, and film as resources and conversation starters for our discussions, but don’t require homework – just an open mind and a willingness to engage in challenging discussion. Men’s Weekly Lunch – Tuesdays @ noon
The UUCF men’s lunch group meets every Tuesday at noon. We discus whatever is going on in the world that interests us that week and we share what’s happening in our lives. We are always looking for new guys to join us. Some of us meet in person at UUCF while others join us remotely utilizing Google Meet. For more information contact mensgroup@uufarmington.org
Daytimers – 3rd Thursday of the month @ noon
Join this social group anyone who is free during the day. Bring your lunch and enjoy friendship with other members and guests of UUCF. Organized by Joan Daley.
Board Game Saturdays – 2nd Saturday of the month @ 1-6pm
Fans of euro games, party games, and the classics are welcome for competition and conversation at our Board Game events. Light snacks & drinks available, or bring your own to share. Children are welcome and can either play games with other children or play with adults if they can sit through a game. Email boardgames@uufarmington.org for more information.
