Better Together: Practicing Resistance as a Community
What does it mean to resist individualism and despair? Together we will explore the ways we can practice the counter cultural act of joining our efforts in community to make a difference in the world. This interactive multigenerational Service has a place for everyone of all ages!
We will be finishing up our Get Out the Vote letters: stuffing, closing, and stamping. We will also be talking about all of the other things we can do between the end of September and November 5. Come help us earn our Good Trouble Congregation status again this year!
Resistance to Empire comes in many forms! At this multigen Service we will explore hope in the face of overwhelming odds, the bonds of community during challenges, and the possibility of redemption, even in the darkest hour.
Join us for a Service Sunday. We'll gather in Adams Hall to pack safe birth kits for Global Health Services to distribute around the world. Join us for this fun and lifesaving activity that all ages can participate in!
