Sometimes a story comes along that is too impossibly good not to tell. Come hear the story of a small but hearty racehorse who stole the heart of America during the great depression and contemplate why he touched the lives and hearts of so many in a time when hope was hard to find.
Guest Speaker Miranda Davis of the Farmington Hills Nature Center will be sharing ways to enjoy and appreciate our natural world. Weather permitting, some of this service will take place outside.
In lieu of service, join us for our annual picnic at Novi Rotary Park at 10:30am. We will provide hot dogs, veggies dogs, corn on the cob, and lemonade. Food will be served around 11:30am. You are invited to bring a dish to pass. We will have games for all ages and good conversation, as always.
What does it mean to add one more space to our table? Through the Guest At Your Table program with the UU Service Committee, we will explore the ways we live our value of generosity in everything we do. At this service we will also have a moment of shared generosity through a Thanksgiving Bread Communion.
