In fact, according to the New York Times, only 25% of American adults claim they have “a clear sense of what makes their lives meaningful.” This week we will examine what modern-day psychology, philosophy, and sacred texts can tell us about finding meaning, purpose, and ultimately, fulfillment in our life.
"Do Not Leave Your Cares at the Door" is one of our beliefs in our pluralistic faith community. This year has been really traumatic and we know the coming years will continue to be so. Drawing on the research of trauma informed care, we will explore tools for sitting in discomfort during ongoing scary times. All of who you are, even the scared parts, are welcome here.
In celebration of Rev. Karen's shared ministry with UUCF, we will share gratitude for all the ways we have grown together and release each other to the next stages in each of our ministries. Through music, stories, and ritual, our time together will come to an end and we will make space for UUCF's next minister. Come wish Rev Karen well on her journey and celebrate this shared ministry.
