Join us this Sunday as we explore identity and all the ways we are continuously “becoming” throughout our lives. Through stories and music we will ponder what it means to discover who we are, what it feels like to belong, and how we encourage growth within a beloved community. 

At a time when the word "trans" is being removed from public places, we at UUCF are working to become ever more visible in our support for trans and nonbinary people. This multicongregational Service with Northwest UU and 1st UU Detroit will expand our awareness and affirm our commitment to justice and safety for trans people. 

The first line of UUCF's mission statement is "We Seek Answers Everywhere." If we truly live that statement, where are we seeking and how do we determine the answers we follow? Our UU faith is pluralistic, meaning we draw inspiration from many faith traditions. But in our search for meaning, what does it mean to seek and live answers? You are invited to come and explore these questions together. 

Did you know that March 15 is national "Everything You Think is Wrong Day"? No? Neither did we but we're practicing being open to the possibility that we were wrong about our previous ideas. This multigen Sunday Service will have opportunities to explore times when we realized we were wrong about something or someone. Practicing having a growth mindset helps us open our heart to transformation. Come, learn in community. 

This Service Sunday, we will work together to pack whistle kits for distribution to our immigrant neighbors.

Join us this Sunday as we launch our annual stewardship campaign: 'Weaving Our Future Together.' In this Sunday Service, we’ll explore the unique threads each of us contributes to the vibrant tapestry of our beloved community.  Please stay for a complimentary lunch following the Service!

Loss and grief touch our lives in myriad ways, yet many of us feel unsure how to respond when they show up in our communities. This sermon reflects on what it means to be a grief-literate community and invites us to grow our capacity to accompany one another through loss with honesty, humility, and love.

This interactive multigenerational Sunday Service will have opportunities for creating, connecting and practicing resilience in community. Through crafting and sharing we will create community together. 

No matter what is happening in the world, pleasure and joy are still tools of resilience we can use to help us maintain our equilibrium and build connection. Come hear Halli Carbrey share about pleasure and joy as resources for daily living. 

Even in the darkest of winter, we are still renewing and growing. At this multigenerational Sunday Service, come learn about the story of Bridgid and how we can embody resilience together.
