Being Helpful, Science and Spirituality: Discussion Groups
Join us for a Discussion Group Sunday! Discussion groups are a great opportunity to learn more about yourself and others as we reflect on our chosen topics: Being Helpful and Science and Spirituality
Universalism has a long history of not only adapting to change but being on the cutting edge of challenging the status quo. We are proud of our ancestors and how they challenged us to keep growing. What would it look like to celebrate transformation as a core value of our faith? Together with our youngest congregants, we will explore how we change individually and how we respond to change in our world.
RJ Jones explores how we can transform conflict into growth and personal struggle into strength. By developing constructive conflict resolution skills and resilient coping strategies, we discover that true joy comes not from avoiding the troubles of this life altogether, but from facing them with love, wisdom, and courage.
What would a Unitarian Universalist do? Sometimes our congregations struggle with the tension between spirituality vs social justice. But what if they weren’t in opposition (because they’re not!)? This Service explores how our beliefs inform our actions.
