Our Annual Flower Ceremony helps us reconnect to our Unitarian roots and reminds us of the beauty of our diverse community. Please bring flowers to the Sunday Service which will then be part of the ceremony. This multigen Service celebrates all that we are in community.
In this joint service, Marie Lowry will share her brother Don’s story and Alexandra Hicks from Alliance of Coalitions for Healthy Communities will teach you to use Narcan, the simple tool that could have saved Don’s life.
Danielle Ware, president of Community Equity Organization will talk about how to move beyond educating yourself on social justice issues. She will discuss how to move to action to create change with the knowledge that you’ve gained.
Sharing our own life story, and listening to others’, is an important tool. This Sunday, we are going to have discussion groups focused on stories and storytelling with opportunities to write and share with each other.
