Having a solid foundation that supports your mental health, especially during difficult times and seasons of change, is equally important. Discussion Groups: Demigods and Boundaries

Demigods: How are demigods portrayed in media and in multiple faiths, and what are the values of demigods as relatable figures in our lives? Boundaries: It may be wise for us to make our boundaries more rigid when we sense danger to our physical, emotional, or psychological well-being; however, if we are perpetually guarded, we risk losing our chances for connections. Our guest speaker will address the need for affordable housing and the importance of homeownership for the poor and disenfranchised, focusing on many initiatives taking place in the Detroit area, including neighborhoods of tiny homes. She will talk briefly about homelessness and returning citizens, also known as those who have been formerly incarcerated, and how her organization is committed to helping justice involved citizens overcome the many barriers they face.
