Our guest speaker will address the need for affordable housing and the importance of homeownership for the poor and disenfranchised, focusing on many initiatives taking place in the Detroit area, including neighborhoods of tiny homes. She will talk briefly about homelessness and returning citizens, also known as those who have been formerly incarcerated, and how her organization is committed to helping justice involved citizens overcome the many barriers they face.
