How To Find Our Purpose

We’ve all been there, yearning to know our purpose and our path in this world. In fact, according to the New York Times, only 25% of American adults claim they have “a clear sense of what makes their lives meaningful.” This week we will examine what modern-day psychology, philosophy, and sacred texts can tell us about finding meaning, purpose, and ultimately, fulfillment in our life.

Mother Jones

Mother Jones (Mary Harris), 1837-1930, exposed disturbing truths about child labor and the poverty of working families. She was motherhood roused to frenzy against the oppressors of her children. Neither courts, nor gunman, nor prisons could stop the woman who said “Pray for the dead, fight like hell for the living.”
