"Do Not Leave Your Cares at the Door" is one of our beliefs in our pluralistic faith community. This year has been really traumatic and we know the coming years will continue to be so. Drawing on the research of trauma informed care, we will explore tools for sitting in discomfort during ongoing scary times. All of who you are, even the scared parts, are welcome here.
Coming out requires compassion for ourselves and others. Whether you’re coming out as a GLBTQ person or as an ally, come celebrate the joy of living authentic lives.
Jeynce Poindexter will share experiences with the Ruth Ellis Center and awareness of the discrimination, murder, and harm of trans women of color, particularly Black trans women in and around the Detroit metropolitan area.
